Design Assignment 16: A-to-Z Book

Posted on Aug 09, 2012

The A to Z book that the students were asked to design was a wonderful platform for them to showcase their independent thinking and their ability to sustain and adapt a particular style.

This is the brief that was provided to them:

Design an a-to-Z book on the subject of your choice. Remember, that each alphabet must be explored in detail, ideally on a separate spread. This book is meant to be a whimsical design object. The reader must wish to possess it based on its layout alone, even if the actual subject holds no interest for him or her.

The following were chosen by the students as the best three books.

Amritah Sen

Rachita Saraogi

Satoko Tsurudome

Special mention:

Paramita Brahmachari
